Convenience Mixes | Glazes improve the appearance, and therefore the value, of bakery products. Pastry glazes can be supplied in either hot water or cold water thickening formats, coloured or uncoloured, and can be manufactured for brush, disc, spray or pre-bake applications. Dessert glazes are available to enhance the appearance of fruit and fruit containing products such as flans and tarts. Jellies are traditionally used in pork and game pies to prevent the meat from drying out within the pastry case. They are also used to protect patés, and improve appearance, often having a garnish set in them. Jellies can be supplied in a wide variety of textures, either plain or with an unlimited selection of of colours and seasonings. The following is a selection of some of the pastry glazes and Jellies that we currently manufacture. Most seasonings and colours can be combined with these products, so please contact us if you have a specific requirement.
